Movement Reference Number (MRN)

Integrated customs compliance for cross-border logistics. Eliminate the risk of regulatory fines with dedicated MRN capture and dynamic duty-status management.

What’s launching

We are introducing native support for Movement Reference Numbers (MRN) at critical touchpoints and unlocking the ability to toggle duty status on existing inventory.

  • Dedicated MRN input fields at Goods-In and Dispatch.

  • MRN logging across stock, tasks, and transaction history.

  • Editable "Duty Paid" flag on the stock show screen.

  • Automated audit trails for customs-aligned movements.

Why it matters

  • EU Expansion Ready: Fully align your operations with Benelux and wider EU customs requirements for moving goods across borders.

  • Audit Transparency: Maintain a bulletproof record of every MRN associated with your inventory, making duty tracking and inspections frictionless.

  • Flexibility in Bond: Move stock out of bond easily by updating duty status manually—removing the assumption that stock must leave in the same state it arrived.

Technical Sync/Specs

  • Capture Points: Mandatory or optional MRN fields added to the Receipting and Dispatch workflows.

  • Data Persistence: MRN values are preserved against the stock record and all associated outbound documentation.

  • Duty Logic: The "Duty Paid" flag is now a modifiable attribute, enabling stock to be released from bonded status within the WMS.

  • Traceability: Every status change or MRN entry is timestamped and attributed to a user for a standardised audit trail.
