How do I link Accounts in Clarus WMS?

Account Linking for Stock Management

Linking accounts in Clarus WMS allows you to efficiently manage stock by pulling inventory from other accounts if your primary account runs low. This ensures your orders are always fulfilled smoothly.


Step-by-Step Guide

1. Access the Accounts Screen

From the left-hand menu, click Accounts. A list of all accounts will appear. Select an existing account or create a new one if needed.

Scroll to the Linked Accounts section of the selected account. Use the dropdown to select the account(s) you wish to link.

3. Save Changes

Click Save to confirm your selections.


Click the Unlink button next to the account you want to remove from the list of linked accounts.

A message will prompt you to confirm. Select Unlink or Cancel.

3. Repeat as Needed

The account will now be unlinked. Repeat the process for other accounts as needed.


Enabling Linked Account Stock Usage

For orders to use stock from linked accounts, ensure these settings are enabled in the account’s Flag Section:

Order from Linked Accounts: Tick this option to allow orders to be fulfilled from linked accounts.

Pick from Linked Accounts if Stock is Unavailable: Enable this to allow stock picking from linked accounts when the primary account is out of stock.
