How Do I Create a Sales Order Without Selecting a Warehouse?

How to Create Sales Orders Without a Specific Warehouse

This guide explains how to create a sales order without pre-selecting a warehouse. This is helpful when you have stock across several warehouses, and the order can be fulfilled from any location.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Start a Sales Order

Begin creating your sales order as you usually would.

2. Check the Warehouse Field

As you create the order, you will notice that the warehouse field is automatically populated.

3. Remove the Selected Warehouse

To remove the pre-selected warehouse, click the cross ('X') icon inside the warehouse field.

4. Complete the Sales Order

Once the warehouse is removed, the system will automatically pick stock following its pre-set sequence. It will not prioritise any particular warehouse.
