Will stock lines retain their information if removed from a pick?

Cancelling Pick Tasks and Stock Status

If you cancel pick tasks in Clarus WMS, the allocated stock lines will become available again. However, the sales order will not automatically update to 'Completed' unless you also cancel the lines from the order itself.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Cancel Associated Tasks

To cancel associated tasks, go to either the pick list screen or the tasks screen in Clarus WMS. Cancelling tasks here will automatically change the status of the stock lines back to 'Available'. They will also keep all their original information.

2. Understand Sales Order Status

After cancelling the tasks, the stock lines will still be on the Sales Order. If you want the Sales Order to show as 'Completed', you must also cancel the lines from the order. Otherwise, the order will stay in a 'Part' status.

WarningWARNING: Simply cancelling pick tasks does not complete the Sales Order. You must cancel the lines from the order to change its status to 'Completed'.
