Assigning Products to Multiple Accounts

This guide explains how to assign a product to multiple accounts in Clarus WMS. This is useful when a product needs to be distributed across different accounts. You will also learn how to un-assign accounts if needed.


Step-by-Step Guide

1. Select the Product

From the left-hand menu, click on Products. You will see a list of all products in the system. Select the product you want to assign to multiple accounts.

2. Assign Accounts

Scroll down to the Accounts section on the product details screen. Click the dropdown and choose the account(s) you want to assign. Click Assign Account to add the selected account.

REMEMBER: You can assign as many accounts as needed, and each assigned account will appear in the Accounts section of the product screen.

3. Assigning a New Product

If you are working with a new product, you must first create the product and then follow the steps above to assign it to multiple accounts.


Un-assigning Products

1. Select the Product to Un-assign

From the left-hand menu, click on Products. Find and select the product you want to edit.

2. Un-assign an Account

Scroll down to the Accounts section. You will see a list of all accounts assigned to the product. Next to each account, there is a red Un-assign button. Click Un-assign and confirm to remove the account from the product. This will only affect the selected product.
