How Do I Manage and Assign Collection Addresses?

This guide explains how to add, manage, and assign collection addresses in Clarus WMS. This feature helps you save multiple collection addresses, making it quicker and easier to select them when creating receipts, as you won't need to retype the details each time.



Step-by-Step Guide

1. Open the Collection Addresses Section

On the left-hand menu, click on Collection Addresses. This will display a list of all your saved addresses.

2. Add a New Address

Click the +Add Collection Address button. A new screen will appear where you can enter the address details.

3. Fill in the Address Details

Enter all the necessary information for the new address, such as the street, city, and postcode.

4. Activate or Inactivate the Address

To turn an address on or off, click the Active button. The status will change as a result. Then, click Save to confirm these changes.

5. Save the Address

After saving, you will see sections for External System References and Address. Complete these if required, then click Save again to finish.

6. Assign a Collection Address to an Account

Go to your Stock Accounts list. Select the account you wish to link a collection address to.

7. Scroll to the Collection Addresses Section

Scroll down the page until you find the Collection Addresses section.

8. Assign a Collection Address

Click the dropdown box, and a list of your saved addresses will appear. Choose the correct address from the list and click Assign Collection Address.

9. Unassign an Address

If you need to remove an address from an account, simply click the Unassign button next to that address.
