How Do I Create and Process a Pick List?

Creating and Processing Pick Lists

This guide will help you create and process pick lists after a sales order has been generated. Pick lists are important for making sure the correct items are picked for an order and sent out accurately.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Access Pick Lists

From the left-hand menu, click Goods Out, then select Picking Lists. You will then see a list of all existing pick lists.

2. Select the Pick List to Process

Choose the pick list that matches your sales order by selecting the correct line. This will open the pick list screen, showing the items ready for picking. The status will be Pick.

3. Confirm the Pick

You can confirm the items in two ways:

Confirm Individually: For each item, click the Confirm button to verify it has been picked.

Confirm All: Use the Confirm All Pick Tasks button to confirm all items at once.

4. Use Additional Pick List Options

There are three blue buttons on the pick list screen:

Export List: Use this to export the pick list once it is fully finished.

Print Dispatch Note: Download the dispatch note to print or save it.

Download Pick List: Download a copy of the pick list if you need a paper version.

5. Confirm the Dispatch

After confirming the pick, click the Dispatch tab to go to the dispatch confirmation screen. Confirm each item individually or use the Confirm All Dispatch Tasks button to confirm all items.

6. Complete the Pick List

Once both the pick and dispatch have been confirmed, the pick list status will change to Completed.

7. Update the Sales Order Status

Go back to the original sales order. The sales order status will now show as Completed, meaning the picking and dispatching processes are finished.
