How do I perform a warehouse transfer in Clarus WMS?

How to Transfer Stock Between Warehouses

This guide explains how to easily transfer stock or pallets from one warehouse to another within Clarus WMS. It covers accessing stock, selecting items, entering transfer details, and confirming the move.


Step-by-Step Guide

1. Access the Stock List

From the left-hand menu, click on Stock, then select Stock List. This screen displays all your stock and products across various warehouses. You can use the search or filter boxes to find specific stock if needed.

2. Select the Stock Line

Locate the stock line you wish to transfer. Click on the stock line to highlight it.

3. Initiate the Warehouse Transfer

At the bottom of the screen, select Warehouse Transfer from the available buttons. A window will appear on the right side, showing the stock's ID, storage reference, and quantity.

4. Enter Transfer Details

For Transfer to Warehouse, use the dropdown menu to select the destination warehouse. Tick Transfer All Stock? if you want to move all of the stock. If you only want to transfer a portion, untick this option and enter the specific Quantity to Transfer.

5. Confirm the Transfer

Once you have entered all the necessary details, click Transfer to complete the warehouse transfer process.

Yes, simply untick the Transfer All Stock? option and then enter the specific quantity you wish to transfer.

How do I know if the stock has been transferred successfully?

The stock will keep its existing reference number unless you choose to generate a new one during the transfer process.

Yes, you can view transaction histories to track the movement of stock between different warehouses.
