This guide explains how to set up locations and use the warehouse map in Clarus WMS. Configure your locations with zone and aisle details, then easily access the map to view stock statuses and product locations, including a 3D view.
Before using the warehouse map, you need to configure your locations. Go to the "locations" menu. Select the location you want to edit, then scroll down to the "Details" tab. Input all the required zone information and save. This will make the location ready for the warehouse map.
Once your locations are set up, navigate to the "Stock" tab to open the warehouse map. The map shows zones and aisles, colour-coded by stock status (partial, full, or available). You can switch between warehouses using the "Warehouse" tab and filter for specific products using the "Find Product"" tab.
Click on any location on the map to see all the pallets and stock stored within it.
For a more detailed view, switch to the 3D map. In 3D mode, you can zoom in, move the view with the left mouse button, and reposition with the right mouse button. Just like the 2D map, you can click on specific locations to see stock details.
Locations need to be configured with aisle or zone information and dimensional details before they can show up on the warehouse map. Make sure you have completed Step 1 of the guide.
You can apply filters to show locations containing specific products by using the ""Find Product"" tab on the warehouse map.
Yes, the 3D view functions like the 2D warehouse map, allowing you to click on specific locations to see the stock details within.
REMEMBER: Always save your changes after configuring locations to ensure they appear correctly on the warehouse map.
