Streamlined User Creation for Handheld Devices (HHD)

Streamlined User Creation for Handheld Devices (HHD)

We have simplified the process for adding team members to your system. You can now designate Handheld Device (HHD) users without requiring a unique email address, making it faster and easier to get your warehouse staff up and running.

Phase 1: Create the System User

  1. Navigate to Settings > Users > Users from the homepage.

  2. Click New to open the creation form.

  3. Enter the required details (Name, Language, Role, etc.).

  4. Crucial Step: Set the User Type to Handheld Devices.

  5. Click Save.

Phase 2: Configure the HHD Login

Once the system user is saved, you need to set up their specific handheld credentials:

  1. Go to Handheld Devices > HHD Users.

  2. Click New to create a login.

  3. Enter the Username, Password, and assigned Warehouse.

  4. (Optional) Select preferred Printers and Implementation settings.

  5. In the Associated User field, select the user you created in Phase 1.

  6. Click Save, and you’re all set!

Tip: By linking the HHD profile to a "Handheld Device" user type, you bypass the email verification step, saving time during high-volume onboarding.
